Place the peas, ham, cream and parsley in a small bowl.
Let it boil for 15 minutes. Reduce heat and cook for 5 more minutes.
Add pepper, salt and cheese and let it melt. Remove from heat and set aside.
Add 2 tablespoons butter now. Boil water and cook pasta according to package directions.
