1. Controller
Agro Industrias Alimenticias de Veraguas, S.A. ("La Parmigiana"), based in Santiago de Veraguas, Republic of Panama, is responsible for the personal data collected on parmigiana.com.pa. Privacy contact: ap.moc.anaigimrap@amp.d.
2. What we collect and why
- Contact form: name, email, subject and message. Used only to answer your inquiry and sent by email to our team; not stored in a website database.
- Club Parmigiana / newsletter: email, language and a hashed identifier of your IP address, to send you recipes and promotions and prevent abuse. Stored in a private server file that is not reachable from the internet.
- Security: IP address, temporarily, to limit mass submissions and block malicious bots.
3. Legal basis
We process your data with your consent, given when you submit a form or subscribe, and on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure, in accordance with Panama's Law 81 of 2019 on Personal Data Protection and its regulations.
4. Retention
Contact messages are kept as long as needed to answer the inquiry. Club Parmigiana data is kept until you unsubscribe. Security logs are deleted within 30 days at most.
5. Third parties involved
- Cloudflare Turnstile (anti-spam protection for forms; required).
- Google Maps (location map; loaded only if you accept it).
- Hosting provider for the website and email.
- cuanto.app (online store): clicking "Order here" takes you off this site and that platform's privacy policy applies.
We do not sell or share your data with third parties for commercial purposes.
6. Cookies and local storage
This site does not use its own advertising or analytics cookies. We only store your consent preference in your browser (local storage). The third-party services listed above may set their own cookies when loaded. You can change your choice at any time from "Cookie preferences" in the footer.
7. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, cancellation, objection and portability (ARCO), or unsubscribe from Club Parmigiana, by writing to ap.moc.anaigimrap@amp.d with the subject "Data protection". We will reply within the legal deadlines. You may also file a complaint with Panama's National Authority for Transparency and Access to Information (ANTAI).
