Spaghetti with Meat Balls in White Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb spaghetti
  • 4 oz grated Parmesan cheese
  • Meatballs 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 small onion grated
  • 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 of grated red paprika
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper.
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil for frying
White Sauce
  • 1 liter of milk
  • 1/2 stick of butter
  • 1/2 cup of flour
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/4 cup oil

Preparation:

  1. Balls: Place the ground beef in a bowl and add all the ingredients listed, except the oil. One, without kneading too much. Shape into balls about 1-1 / 2 "in diameter and fry in oil until golden brown. Leave in the pan.
  2. Sauce: Blend the milk with the flour, melt the butter and add the milk with the flour. Add the bay leaf. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thickened. Pour the cream into the skillet with the balls and stir well.
  3. Pasta: Cook pasta in plenty of salted water until al dente. Serve pasta with meatball sauce on each individual plate. Drizzle with Parmesan cheese to taste. Makes 6 servings.
